NCAOA is a strong force in advocating for aging. The Board of Directors develop annual legislative priorities and partners with the NC Senior Tarheel Legislature in meeting those directives.

NCAOA hosts educational packed trainings through the year. The annual NC State Aging Conference and diverse topic Aging Boot Camps.

Each year as part of the NC State Aging Conference, NCAOA recognizes individuals and organizations who have excelled in service provision. Award recipients are selected by a panel of NCAOA board members.

NCAOA provides opportunities for aging service providers across the state to network with like minded professionals not only to trade information, but also as an avenue to create long-term relationships with mutual benefits.

As a statewide organization, it is our goal to provide members training opportunities that include our Annual Training Conference, Aging Boot Camp, network updates and legislative lobbying efforts.
