The North Carolina Association on Aging (NCAOA), North Carolina Coalition on Aging (NCCOA), and the North Carolina Association of Area Agencies on Aging (nc4a) have come together and requests your support in helping older adults recover from the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. The beautiful region of Western North Carolina has been hit hard, and the need for assistance is urgent.

 

As you may know, Hurricane Helene brought heavy winds and torrential rain, leading to severe flooding and widespread damage across Western NC. Many families have lost their homes, businesses have been disrupted, and essential services have been affected. In the wake of such destruction, it is crucial that we unite to provide support and resources to those in need.

 

To aid in the recovery efforts, NCAOA, NCCOA, and nc4a will raise funds for Area Agencies on Aging in Western NC. All proceeds will go directly to providing relief. Funds raised will assist older adults with their basic needs and support local aging service providers working tirelessly on the ground.
